Wesley Fox Sellew Jr.

Last week Pat had to spend a few days in Charleston for work. He decided to stay with Wes for this trip so he would be able to see the new addition to their family, Fox. We went to visit him when he was 5 days old and I know they change so quickly so I had Pat get a few pics for me. He is so cute!!!

 5 days old

He's growing so fast, four months old already!

Do Not Try This At Home!

You know that feeling when you have been sick for so long and all you want is to feel better? Well, that was me this last week (I even took a day and 1/2 off of work - Gasp!). I had been sick for about 4 days and as soon as I started to feel better, I felt a relapse coming on.
At work on Tuesday, after much complaining, a coworker gave me a few suggestions... The first was Mucinex, and might I say that I am in love. All of the sinus pressure and the ongoing headache was gone within a few hours of taking the medication. Second, was Vicks VapoRub, of course I am familiar with this but she suggested an oil that could be used in a vaporizer. While at the pharmacy, feeling awful, and in a fog I found tablets that can be used in the shower. I thought, "Oh! I will put this in vaporizer...I'm sure it's the same type of thing." Well, when I woke up the next morning and returned to the bedroom after a shower, I noticed that my dresser looked a little dusty...

And the nightstand...

and the bed...

Needless to say, as the tablet dissolved the vaporizer 'shot' a dusty substance all over my room. I will be cleaning this one up for a while!!

Fairwell Max!

I can't believe that it is time for Max to move on to his next venture already. Max is an Air Force pilot and he is being relocated to Washington State. We had a great time celebrating and enjoying his favorite southern cuisine, Low Country Boil, courtesy of Pat! It was a fun time to share stories from the last few years that we have all been privileged to get to know him!

A special thanks to Shannon for the yummy cupcakes
(and all the pics)!

Max will be heading to Afghanistan this summer and we are so thankful for him and what he does for this country and all of us!
He will be missed by South Carolina and all of the friends he has made here!
