Sisterly Love

I spent this past weekend in Charleston with my soon-to-be sister-in-law/BFF, Haley. We filled the days with 'girl stuff'...
Friday we treated ourselves to manicures and pedicures followed by a little shopping and happy hour with sushi appetizers. After returning home, to Ryan, who confirmed that he wanted nothing to do with our fun; we went back out to get some dinner.

I couldn't help but add a picture
of the children in our family!

Saturday morning Haley got our day started right with spinach and feta omelets! Just what needed for our next adventure, wedding dress shopping!! We didn't set out to find the dress, we were mainly concentrating on style and having fun. I was my typical 'anything involving wedding crazed nut' and Haley was calmly looking around and within minutes we had our arms full of dresses! Of course, Haley looked beautiful in them all but we did have our favorites (unfortunately they didn't let us take pics). We grabbed some lunch then headed home to rest before getting ready for the final night of Charleston Fashion Week. We took the opportunity to get dressed up and, of course, stopped to get an appetizer before the show started. What can I say? We love to eat! The show was great and wrapped around 11 so we hit up Alex's on our way home for a schmorgasboard of more food!

All-in-all it was another GREAT girls weekend!

Mr. & Mrs. Kenney

Shelly and Rob are officially husband and wife!

It was such a fun wedding weekend! Friday night after rehearsal we had dinner at the the Palmetto Club which was a great time for the two families to get to know one another. After dinner we all enjoyed music and dancing at the Sheraton Rooftop. It was great to have fun and catch up with all of our family and friends we haven't seen in a while!
Saturday, March 19, 2011 was the big day. Shelly looked so beautiful in her dress and I was honored to be a part of the ceremony. The nuptials were followed by a fabulous reception at the Museum of Art!
Because to my duties a matron of honor, I fell short in the picture department. So, I want to give a special thanks to Alyssa for allowing me to share hers!!

Congratulations to the Mr. and Mrs.!!

Girls Night Out!!

This past weekend we celebrated Shellys last nights as a single women. We stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston and had a blast. The best part was just being together! It has been a long time since we have had the opprotunity and I wish the weekend would have never ended!
Friday night was our low key night, after dinner we hung out in our room, played a few games, and laughed until we all fell asleep....and yes 4 of us ended up sleeping in the same bed! Saturday we went out for a little walk, lunch and shopping! That night we went to dinner and the rest is history!
